  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from recognized University or Veterinary Institute or equivalent as mentioned in Schedule –I or Schedule-II of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
  2. Should have registered with Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.
  3. Two years experience in management of large size poultry farm. (Poultry farm with flock size of five thousand birds or higher, may be considered as large poultry farm.)

Livestock Officer

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 from a recognized university or institution.
  2. Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or Veterinary Council of States.
  3. One year’s experience in the Cattle and Livestock Development or Animal Health or Poultry or Meat and Meat Products from Central / State Government / Union Territory Administration Departments or Statutory / Autonomous Institutes or related Organizations recognized by the Government.

Assistant Legal Adviser

  1. Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent or Master’s Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent.
  2. For LLB degree Holders – 3 years experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws.
  3. For LLM degree holders- 1 year experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws.

Deputy Fire Adviser

  1. Bachelor Degree in Fire Engineering from a recognized University / institute.
  2. Four years experience in Fire prevention or Fire protection or Fire fighting or Fire Training in the Fire Department of any organization.


Pay scale for the various posts in UPSC:

Pre-revised pay scale –Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in PB-3. Revised Pay as per 7th CPC Level – (Rs.67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix. Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.67700/- plus DA plus Special Incentive Allowance @20% of Basic pay per month.
5.
Deputy Fire Adviser
Level -11 of the pay matrix.

Age Limit: 33/ 35/ 40 years (depends up on various posts)

Application Fee for the above mentioned posts of UPSC:
  • Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master / credit and debit card.
  • No fee for SC/ST/PH/ Women candidates of any community. No” fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
  • Application without the prescribed free would not be considered as summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
  • Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Important dates:
  • Closing dates for submission of online recruitment application (ORA) through ORA website is 23:59 hrs on 12.09.2019.
  • The last date for printing of completely submitted online application is up to 23:59 hrs on 13.09.2019.
